Introduction

System requirements (version 3.2):
- Any Macintosh MacOS X 10.3.9 or later compatible

This software allows you to play the Tarot card game according to the 4 player rules of the French Federation of Tarot.

• The computer can take the place of 1 to 4 players.

• The machine can advise the player during the biddings, the discard and the card play.

• Deals, normally made at random, can be created with an editor of deals to allow problems resolution.

• The computer calculates the score of the tournaments.

• A tournament can be saved and continued later on.

• It is possible to play a duplicate Tournament: each player plays the same deal in the position of the Taker (while the computer plays the 3 defenders), the winner is the player who will have the best score after several deals.

• It is possible to play free deals or duplicate tournaments in a network (local or Internet) of up to 4 computers. The list of the connected players to the internet is updated in real time and offers the possibility to play at anytime with anyone ! If there is enough seats…

• The cards are authentic digitalized cards from a card deck of the EDITIONS DUSSERRE, a reprint of one of the first «New Tarot» of 1890.

• LeTarot is a shareware. In the free demo mode, you are not allowed to save a tournament, it is limited to 3 games and you cannot access the deal editor. Moreover, during network tournament the number of deals is limited if the players online don't have each a specific serial number.

To get access to all possibilities of LeTarot version 3, you must send 25 Euros by one of the modes of payment described when starting the software (or online) and you will receive your serial number.

Please note that a version 3.1 for Mac OS 9 and X 10.1,10.2 and also a version 2.2.4 (or later) for MacOS 7-8-9 are available on the websites below.
